The dehydrogenation reactor for the 100,000 TPA Styrene Plant in 1998 was a key project under the "Ten Dragons" R&D Program of Sinopec. It was the first domestically produced unit to replace imported equipment and was manufactured by the company. The main materials of the reactor are 304H and Incoloy 800HT.
The company has manufactured over 20 dehydrogenation reactors for styrene projects, including those for Hainan Jiahua, Sinopec Baling, CNOOC Ningbo Daxie, Lihuayi Lijin Refining, Sinopec Luoyang, and PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical.
