Among them, the waste heat boiler products under the "Hailu" brand serve more than 30 industries including shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical industry, mining, metallurgy, electric power, papermaking, printing and dyeing, glass and non-ferrous metals, and are exported to more than 80 countries and regions, boasting over 500 users worldwide.
The company was founded in 1956, covering an area of nearly 500,000 square meters. It has 8 holding subsidiaries and 1 waste heat boiler research institute, with branches established in Switzerland, Beijing, Wuhan, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and other key locations. Adhering to the development philosophy of "Technology Leader, Industry Pioneer", the company focuses on R&D of new technologies integrating waste heat recovery, waste heat utilization and environmental protection, boasting robust R&D capabilities. It has undertaken the National 863 Program and two special fund projects for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Jiangsu Province, and its products have won the Second-Class National Award for Scientific and Technological Progress.
The workshop is located 200 meters south of Zhangjiagang Gangxin Wharf, just 500 meters from the Yangtze River. It covers an area of 58,000 square meters, with a workshop space of approximately 45,000 square meters. The workshop has one 200 ton crane, three 100 ton cranes, two 50 ton cranes, and three 30 ton cranes. There is a heat treatment furnace (31m × 13m × 13m) and a plate rolling machine capable of processing steel plates up to 160mm thick. The workshop is also equipped with advanced TOFD non-destructive testing equipment and has an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons.
The workshop is equipped with 1,100 sets of production equipment, including φ32–φ76 serpentine tube production lines and membrane wall panel welding machines, with the maximum lifting capacity of overhead cranes reaching 700 tons. It has heavy-duty plate rolling machines capable of cold rolling 160mm-thick plates and hot rolling 250mm-thick plates, as well as an integral heat treatment furnace (8m×8m×30m, 800℃). A large-scale NDT room is established, furnished with a high-temperature electronic testing machine (1000℃), a 6MeV electron linear accelerator and γ-ray flaw detectors with penetration capacity up to 250mm. The workshop also has Lincoln strip surfacing welders, automatic deep-hole butt-weld tube sheet welders and small-bore internal cladding welders. The machining workshop is equipped with advanced heavy-duty processing equipment such as CKX511000 vertical lathes (max machining size: φ6.3m×4m), a 4m gantry CNC multi-spindle deep-hole drilling machine and a TJK6P20A CNC floor-type boring & milling machine with a 12m stroke and φ200mm boring spindle.
There are 83 sets of testing and inspection equipment, including a 4MeV accelerator with a maximum penetration thickness of 250 mm, a Co60 radiographic flaw detector with a maximum penetration thickness of 250 mm, an electronic low-temperature drop-weight testing machine (NDT-1500J), imported portable and bench-top spectrometers for quantitative composition analysis of carbon steel, alloy and stainless steel, a high-temperature electronic tensile testing machine, a low-temperature impact testing machine, an infrared carbon and sulfur analyzer, and a laser electronic total station.
