On December 29th, the new icebreaker "Exploration 3" built by Guangzhou Shipbuilding International successfully arrived in Sanya, Hainan and was officially put into service at the Nanshan Port Public Science and Technology Research Pier in Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. Zhangjiagang Hailu Shazhou Science and Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hailu Heavy Industry, as a participant in the research and construction, has obtained the certificate of participation in the research and construction jointly issued by Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration, Hainan Deep Sea Technology Innovation Center, and the Institute of Deep Sea Science and Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

It is reported that the "Exploration III" has completed for the first time the research and installation of a full range of polar operation and scientific expedition control equipment, as well as the largest domestic water tight scientific expedition lunar pool system equipment, deep-sea acoustic detection in ice areas, communication and positioning equipment, ship dynamic positioning system and other domestically produced technologies. Therefore, the commissioning of "Exploration 3" will further enhance China's ability to conduct deep-sea diving and comprehensive operations in the deep and open sea (polar extension).

The two LSK1.8-0.7 oil fired boilers and two GFL100-0.7 waste gas boilers used on the "Exploration 3" research vessel are provided by "Hailu Shazhou". This is also another important achievement made by the company in the field of marine scientific research vessels, following the "Yuanwang" series of measurement ships, transport ships, and the "Xuelong" series of polar scientific research ships.

Hailu Shazhou has been deeply involved in the manufacturing industry of marine boilers for many years and is one of the sixth batch of specialized, refined, and innovative "little giants" enterprises in Jiangsu Province. In today's rapidly changing maritime industry, it maintains a good development trend and contributes to the innovation and development of national deep-sea technology.
